Last month we wrapped up our annual summer internship with a wonderful cohort of youth! We were able to hire 11 youth to teach the basics of growing food, land stewardship, community organizing, and food justice over the course of 8-weeks!
We are so grateful to work with so many young people who are inspired and driven to spend time at the farm, especially with our summers. This program is only possible with the dedication to learn about food justice, and keeping a hopeful mindset despite the hard work that goes into growing green spaces. Please keep a lookout for our application next year if you or your youth is interested in participating in our program.
